Sylvanus Jackson “Jack” Diel, age 85 of Orlando, Florida passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 in Orlando.  Jack was born March 19, 1933 in Olney, Illinois a son of Paris F. and Chloe L. (Ring) Diel. He married Jacqueline J. Smith in 1954 in Olney. They later divorced.

They had six daughters, Kathy, Janet, Cynthia, Holly, Angela and Susan.

Jack was a United States Air Force, Korean War veteran.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Paris and Chloe Diel and a brother, Delmar F. Diel.

He is survived by two sisters, Leona G. (Diel) Street and Betty N. (Diel) Kosack.

Burial was in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
