Bill R. Stadge, 63, of Sumner, formerly of Olney died Thursday, October 16, 1997 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Stadge was born March 15, 1934 in Olney, the son of Virgil and Pauline (Sanders) Stadge.

He is survived by his mother of Olney; one brother, Jim Stadge of Olney; one sister, Freda Sanders of Topoke Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers.
