Donald "Rex" Lacey - Class Of 1957

Donald "Rex" Lacey, 58, of Calhoun died Saturday March 7, 1998 in Columbus, Ind.

Services at Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Bruce Rushing officiating. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with full military rites rendered by the Olney veteran organizations.

Lacey was born September 1, 1939 in Olney, the son of Andy Clay and Bernadine S. (Chaplin) Lacey.

He was retired from the United States Navy and worked in furniture manufacturing. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Richland Post #30 American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie # 2549.

He is survived by one son, Gary Lacey of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Sheri Harris of Columbus, Ind. and Chelsie Lacey of Ninevah, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jerry Dean Lacey and a brother, Walter C. Lacey.
