Ivan Lee Garrett, 15, a first-year student in the East Richland High School, passed away last night, March 15, 1954 at the Richland Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Jessie Garrett and Bernice Harmon, 942 S. Saratoga St., Olney.

The lad was born April 21, 1938 in Bonpas Township and lived all his life here. He had been ill with Rheumatic Fever.

He leaves his parents; a sister, Dorothy Jane and a brother, Floyd Dean, both at home. His surviving grandparent is Richard Harmon of Olney. His great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harmon and Mrs. Lillie Deck all of Olney. He also leaves several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services for Ivan Lee, held in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Wilson Funeral Home with the Reverend R.O. Mikel officiating. Interment at Maple Dale Cemetery.
