Arna Gene Kessler, 71, of Olney, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at her residence.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Kessler was born on September 6, 1937, in Richland County, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Kutz) Treece. She married Lawrence Ray Kessler on June 17, 1956. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2006.

She was a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Kessler is survived by her daughter, Pamella Hahn and Mark Curry, of Olney; brother, John Treece and his wife, Myra, of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Gary Treece and his wife, Freda, of West Salem; grandson, Michael D. Hahn, of Olney; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ed Treece.
