Patricia Darlene "Pat" Deimel, 70, of Olney, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney

Mrs. Deimel was born October 10, 1937, in Olney, the daughter of Clifford and Arlene (Steber) Jones. She married Charles Henry Deimel on June 18, 1955. He survives.

She was the owner/operator of Deimel Trucking Inc. with her husband for 22 years. However, her biggest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She loved watching her children and grandchildren participate in any and all activities. She also loved reading and watching her favorite professional and college sports teams compete and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Mrs. Deimel is survived by her husband, Charles Deimel, of Olney; children, Cliff Deimel and his wife, Nancy, Deb Hatten and her husband, Frank, Cathy McDowell and her husband, John, Bill Deimel, Linda Brown and her husband, Arron, and John Deimel and his wife, Michelle, all of Olney; 11 grandchildren, Justin Hatten and his wife, Ashlee, Jenna (Deimel) and her husband, Jason Deadmond, Kristi (Hatten) and her husband, Neely Nelson, Carrie (Deimel) and her husband, Jeremy French, Darrell McDowell and his girlfriend, Andrea Lockley, Charlie McDowell, Will Deimel and his girlfriend, Jennifer Shryock, Zachary, Michael, Daniel and Derek Deimel; and one great-grandchild, Alexander Riley Deadmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
