Patsy Berger, 76, of Olney, died at 5:50 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at her residence.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Tom Smith officiating. Burial at Haven Hill Memorial Garden.

Mrs. Berger was born September 27, 1937, in Richland County, the daughter of Harold and Alice (Enochs) Anderson. She married Clarence Berger on Feb. 25, 1956, in Olney. He survives.

Patsy was well known for her wedding cakes, which she took pride in making. She also enjoyed working at Diel's Blossom Shop, delivering flowers. She was a loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patsy was married to the love of her life for 57 years, Clarence Berger. She was a member of Elm Street Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Berger, of Olney; son, Michael Berger and wife Samantha, of Olney; daughter, Cindy Eckel and husband James, of Olney; grandkids, Calen Eckel, Jacob Eckel, Jordyn Eckel, Olivia Eckel, Barak Berger, Quaid Berger, and Aleine Berger; great-granddaughter, Paisley Eckel; and several nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Margie Westall, brother, Leon Anderson, and infant baby brother.
