Linda "Joyce" (O’Dell) Middleton, 77, of Olney, died on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at her home. Joyce was born on February 14, 1945 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Stanley and Goldie (Brownfield) O'Dell. She married Jim Middleton on November 30, 1963 in Noble, Illinois, and he survives.

Joyce loved to travel. For over 30 years she and her husband were over the road truck drivers and saw 49 states. Joyce enjoyed cooking and teaching her grandchildren how to cook. She took pleasure in sewing, reading and singing. Joyce's greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandbabies and Gus, her fur baby.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Robin (Dan) Mullin; son, Frank (Renee) Middleton; daughter-in-law, Shannon Middleton; son-in-law, Dave Cantrell; grandchildren, Mandie Clark (Steve Wieler), Adam (Jodi) Cox, Franki (Kirsten) Cox, Ethan Cox (June Hout), Ashton (Donovan) Dilly, Brooke (Ezira) Wedding, Destiny Middleton (Brandon Gilbert), Paige Middleton, Cody Rosskilley, and Cody Wilson (Rachel Cornett), eighteen Great grandchildren; brother, Frank (Nancy) O'Dell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Goldie O'Dell; parents-in-laws, Raleigh and Eleanor Middleton; sister, Wilma O'Dell; daughter, Jama Cantrell; three great grandchildren and her beloved Boston Terrier, Popeye.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Antioch Christian Church in rural Olney. A visitation will begin one hour before service time at the church.
