Roberta "Bertie" (Madden) Beehn, 83, of Olney, died on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Bertie was born on March 29, 1939 in Claremont, Illinois, the daughter of Isolene Madden.

Bertie was an avid sports fan, especially of the Los Angeles Dodgers. She was a great bowler, and she worked at Big John's Grocery Store and retired from IGA. Bertie was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed her many talks with her friends, Sandra, Tressie, and Donna. When they were young, Bertie enjoyed taking her sons to ball games, as well as their family’s camping trips. She will be missed.

Bertie is survived by her sons, Stacy (Julie) Beehn and Brady Beehn, both of Olney; Grandchildren, Quentin (Melissa) Beehn, Colton (Anna) Beehn, Austin Beehn, and Whitney Nicole; Sister, Sharon (Ray) Gerber; Previous husband, Barry Beehn, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Gary Madden.

A visitation will be held for friends and family on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

A funeral will be held for Bertie at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the funeral home.

Interment will take follow the service at Eureka Cemetery in Claremont.
