Robert Judge

William Robert Judge, 72, of Sycamore, Illinois, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, DeKalb, with his loving wife at his side.

Born Oct. 6, 1938, in Ellery, the son of Lincoln and Sylvia (Gawthorp) Judge, Robert married Juanita F. Ridgley on June 21, 1958, in West Salem.

Robert owned and operated Lincoln Lithocopy in Sycamore. He worked alongside his wife and son, Dennis, for 20 years. Along with working at his shop, Robert loved to plant flowers and vegetables in his garden, which provided beauty and food for his family and friends. His most enjoyment came when he spent time with his family and many dear friends.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Juanita of Sycamore; four children, Marla (Russ) Lovell, Tim (Emildes) Judge and Dennis Judge, all of Sycamore, and Mike (Bev) Judge of New Lenox; eight grandchildren, Lindsay (Scott) Boehm, Zach Lovell, Jeremy Judge, Sarah Martinez (niece of Emildes), Johnathon, Alexandra, Morgan and Olivia Judge; three brothers, Don (Sharon) Judge, Richard (Violet) Judge and Ed Judge; one sister, Elaine Culpepper; and 3 sisters-in-law, Marie (Bob) Patterson, Mildred (Don) Sams and Wilda Ridgley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.

His funeral service held at the First Baptist Church, Sycamore, with the Rev. Bill Badal officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
