Judy Marie Collins Ratcliffe Weir, 69, of Olney, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2009, at her residence.   There will be no visitation. Cremation rites were accorded. A celebration of life held in the Community Building at Olney City Park. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Ms. Ratcliffe was born on October 13, 1939, in Noble, the daughter of Ernest Duward and Lois Marie (Van Matre) Collins.

She owned and operated Judy's Hux in Olney for 22 years. She was a member of Friends of the Library, Audubon Society and was involved with the annual white squirrel count.

Ms. Ratcliffe is survived by her daughter, Julie Ann Surratt and her husband, Troy, of Beardstown; daughter, Shirley Kay Hinderliter, of Olney; son, Michael Joseph Ratcliffe, of Olney; daughter, Terri Lynn Griffith and her husband, Michael, of Caseyville; son, Jeffrey Paul Ratcliffe, of Olney; son, Stephen Wayne Ratcliffe, of Vincennes, Ind.; daughter, Sherri Marie Gibson and her husband, Bryan, of Calhoun; sister, Pat Banks, of Olney; sister, Legina Mike, of Alton; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Duward and Lois Marie Collins, and grandson, Nick.
