Conna Rose "Connie" Bricker, 78, of Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson. She was born December 24, 1938 in Olney, Illinois to Raymond and Teletha (Renehard) Cameron. Conna married John Bricker on June 6, 1959 and he survives.

Conna graduated from Olney High School and she retired from Hillsdale College after nearly 35 years of service as the Financial Aid Director. She truly enjoyed her work and the relationships she formed with the students during her tenure at Hillsdale College. Conna loved animals, especially horses and she enjoyed serving as one of the Rough Rider 4H Club leaders. She was a proud supporter of the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society, the Republican Party and Fox News, which she watched faithfully. Conna also was an avid reader. She dearly loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, John Bricker, Conna is survived by a daughter, Lisa Bricker of Tampa, Florida; son, Larry (Andrea) Bricker of Reading; four grandchildren, Megan Bricker, Chelsea (Michael) Luedecking, Ashley (Edward) Hojnacki and Tanner Bricker; two great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Hendrix Luedecking and her sister, Betty Meadows of Allegan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Bennett.

Private family interment at Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville at a later date..
