Kenneth Ray York,  age 76 of Barnhill, Illinois passed into Eternity on March 24, 2012 in Fairfield, Illinois. Ray was born December 25, 1935 in Oaktown, Indiana to Vivian A. (Spond) and Howard P. York.

Ray was a truck driver who enjoyed coon hunting and horseback riding.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Bob York and Dale York.

Ray is survived by his son West and wife Cathy York of Fairfield, Illinois; his daughter Shelby and husband Jim Hutchcraft of Mt. Erie, Illinois; one sister, Melba and husband Mike Smith of Evansville, Indiana; one brother, Danny and wife Janice York of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; one uncle, Ralph and wife Evelyn York of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; one aunt, Betty and husband Bill Groff of Russelville, Arkansas; and a sister-in-law, Wanda York of Lancaster, Illinois. He is also survived by four grandsons: Jason York of Fairfield, Illinois, Memphis Hutchcraft of Mt. Erie, Illinois, Brian and wife Tina Humphrey of Xenia, Illinois and Craig Humphrey of Woodlawn, Illinois.
