Richard Bernard Totten, 68, of Spencer, Ind. died Wednesday July 21, 2004.  The body was cremated.

Mr. Totten was born on March 16, 1936 in Olney, the son of Paul and Juanita Miller Totten.

He owned and operated a TV appliance and repair shop in Clay City for several years. He was later employed by Pinkerton Security for five years as a security officer, retiring in 2001. He attended Maranatha Baptist Church in Spencer, Ind.

Mr. Totten is survived by his wife, Louella Totten of Spencer, Ind.; three sons, Adam Totten of San Antonio, Texas, Anthony Totten of Spencer, Ind. and Wes Totten of Neoga; a daughter, Cindy Sebolt of Mattoon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Denny Totten of Olney and a sister, Pat Utz of Olney.
