Tommy Sylvan Smith, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Ferguson, Missouri. He was born March 26, 1937 in Parkersburg, Illinois, a son of Dewey Lee and Sylvia Grace (Byram) Smith. He married Eleanor Pennington and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Smith; daughter, Deborah Pabarcus; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Pluma V. Litherland and Lela Williams and brother, Lowell E. Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Grace Smith; brothers, Russell Lee Smith and Dewey Jr. Smith.
