Jack Kesler, 71, of Olney, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Entombment in Star of Hope Mausoleum in Crest Haven Cemetery in rural Claremont with full military rites by Olney veterans organizations.

Mr. Kesler was born August 30, 1936, in Olney, the son of Jesse R. and Beulah (Thoman) Kesler. He married Marjorie Jones in 1960, and she survives.

He had worked in maintenance at Richland Memorial Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Kesler is survived by his wife, Marjorie Kesler, of Olney; son, Jeffery R. Kesler and his wife, Laura, of Deunweg, Mo.; daughter, Paige Wotton, of Olney; four grandchildren, Jared R. Kesler, Mollie P. Kesler, Lindsey Fulk Wilson and her husband, Shane, and Wesley Fulk; and great-grandaughter, Emma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nadine Hatfield.
