Jane F. Hahn (Brummitt)

Jane (Hahn) Brummitt, 80, of Meno, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015.  She was buried in Olney. There will be a private family memorial later. There will also be services at her church in Enid, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Brummitt was born February 6, 1935, in Olney, the daughter of Otto and Bertha (Iaggi) Hahn. She married Huey Leon Brummitt, of Olney, on September 17, 1957. He survives.

Jane was the second of seven siblings raised in Olney. She graduated from East Richland High School in 1954 and attended Lockyear Business College in Evansville for two years. Jane worked at General Telephone-Revenue and Accounting Office in Olney for more than five years. Throughout her life she held numerous jobs in Olney, Evansville, Alabama, and Oklahoma.

She loved her family, family reunions, and just being with family and friends in general. She enjoyed playing board games, motorcycle rides, fishing and working at various crafts. Her wonderful laugh and sense of humor will be long remembered by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Huey Leon Brummitt, of Meno, Oklahoma; children, Dusty Lynn Brummitt, of Enid, Oklahoma; Scott Bradley Brummitt and wife Terri, of Columbiana, Alabama, Ronald James Brummitt, of Clanton, Alabama; sisters, Cathy Combs and Marge Piercefield, both of Olney, Phyl (Paul) Rusk, of Prescott, Arizona, Celestine (Leon) Hough, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Patty Roland and Ron Buckland, of Pasco, Washington; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Denise Brummitt; her parents, and one sister, Sylvia (Hahn) McCann.

Sharon Whitney (Mendenhall) (1966)

Huey, Dusty, Brad, and Ron, so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person and I know you all will miss her very much. My prayers are with you!!
