Eleanor F. Coan, 78, of Allen, Michigan, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Community Health Center of Branch County, Coldwater.

She was born July 23, 1936 in Olney, IL to Gordon and Ida (Lambrich) Anderson.  She married Walter Coan on October 30, 1953 and he preceded her in death November 4, 2010.

Eleanor was a 1954 graduate of East Richland High School, an avid fan of Nascar, bingo, and roller skating. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and being a homemaker.

Survivors include four daughters, Susan Stout of Hillsdale, Elaine (Larry) Converse of Allen, Cindy (Ronn) Quimby of Quincy and LaJeana Hall of Kalkaska; three sons, Dale (Lori) Coan of Allen, Steven (Sarah) Coan of Allen and Mark (Brenda) Coan of Mt. Pleasant; 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Debra (Coan) Quimby, two sons-in-law, Lanny Quimby and Douglas Stout.

Funeral services at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel, Quincy, with Reverend Alan Fenstermaker officiating. Interment in Allen Cemetery at a later date.
