Thomas Neil Brooks, 77, of Olney passed away on March 15, 2014 in Olney, IL.

Thomas was born June 2, 1936 in Richland County, IL to Woodrow Neil and Leliah (Meadows) Brooks. He married Glenna Campbell on September 1, 1956 in Olney, IL.

Thomas graduated ERHS Class of 1954. He was a farmer his entire life and worked in the oil field for many years. He also worked 10 years for Jabat in Olney. After retirement, he enjoyed raising cattle and deer hunting.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 57 years, Glenna Brooks of Olney; son, Tom Brooks, Jr. of Decatur, IL, son, Robert (Micaela) Brooks of Olney, sister, Violet (Richard) Wilburn of Lawrenceville, sister, Carolyn Cowman of Olney, sister, Fluffy (Charlie) Baum of Greenville, IL; four  grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
