LIHUE, Hawaii - Marilyn S. Oglesby, 79, of Charleston, Illinois died at 4 p.m. Thursday (Apr. 11, 2013) in Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Hawaii. Private memorial services at a later date.

She was born Oct. 13, 1933, in Olney, the daughter of Ralph and Mary Atteberry. She married J.W. Oglesby in 1956; he survives.

Other survivors include one son, Jay Oglesby of Indianapolis, Ind.; one daughter, Marilee Evans of Fairview Heights; and one grandchild.

Mrs. Oglesby was a retired professor of the Lumpkin School of Business at Eastern Illinois University.
