Margaret Rose (Gillaspie) Gill Osman, 89 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020 at Briarwood Assisted Living. Born November 30, 1931 in Olney, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Aden Ross and Lillian Grace (Waigand) Gillaspie.

She graduated in Olney, Illinois from Richland High School, Class of 1950. Margaret married her first husband and true love, Kenneth Gill, and they moved to Allegan in 1968 where they raised their two daughters. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She thoroughly enjoyed her family and put them first above everything. Spending time with her family, sisters and special friends meant the world to her. She was a long-time member of the Allegan Wesleyan Church until it closed its doors in Allegan. Having a love for the outdoors, Margaret had a passion for gardening, whether vegetables or flowers; she also enjoyed going for long walks, bike riding and camping. Her quirky sense of humor kept her daughters in laughter and the many memories that were created over the years will never diminish. Margaret leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and family devotion.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Beverly (David) Green and Patrice (Patti) Griffin (Lon Todd); her two sisters, Katherine (Alan) Brouard and Linda (Cyril) Page; four grandchildren, Dennis (Phoenicia) Green, Steven (Kristin) Green, Tyler Livingston and Ryan Livingston; her sister-in-law, Lois Gillaspie; her stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Along with her parents, Aden and Lillian, and first husband, Kenneth; she is preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Gillaspie; sister and brother-in-law, Aline (Gillaspie) and William Kellogg; and her second husband, Clarence Osman, Jr.

She will be laid to rest in Hudson Corners Cemetery next to her first husband, Kenneth Gill.
