Suzanne (Conour) Miller, 89, of Olney, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2022 at Richland Nursing and Rehab. Suzanne was born on September 4, 1932 in Sandoval, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Helen Bernice (Buck) Conour. She married Charles E. Daniel in April of 1952, with whom she had three children. She later married Donald Lee Miller on March 26, 1965 in Olney, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2006.

Suzanne loved sports, and she bowled on the same league for 25 years in Olney. She also bowled on a league in Newton for 4 years. Suzanne loved NASCAR and Indy car races. Her favorite drivers were AJ Foyt and Tony Stewart. She also liked to watch Tiger Woods and Jordan Speith play golf. Suzanne attended as many OCC basketball games as she could. Illini Basketball was her favorite College Basketball team and the Dallas Cowboys were her favorite Pro Football team. Suzanne also loved going camping. She worked at General Telephone and later for the Olney Daily Mail until she retired.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Kathy Kirkwood of Calhoun and Shawn (Steve) Thomas of Vincennes, IN; son, Rodney Miller of LA; grandchildren, David Daniel, Sonja (Greg) Cook, Curtis Daniel, Jessica Daniel, James Daniel, Lyndsey (Zachary) Perez, Rodney Miller, Jennifer (Matt Spencer) Fox, Jaime (Joe) Malenchik, Danny (Jill) Prosser, and Shawna (Jacob Zuber) Thomas; twenty-three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 41 years, Donald Miller; daughter, Linda Daniel; son, Danny Daniel; two brothers, Lawrence (Dorothy) and Charles (Margaret) Conour.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney. Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements.

Interment will follow the service.

Memorials can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
