Linda Lea Russell,  63, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at home with her family at her side.  Interment in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Russell was born on February 25, 1941, in Olney, the daughter of Russell and Lavera (Clark) Runyon. She married Carl Russell in December 1962 in Olney. He survives.

She worked as a seamstress at Applebaums and later at Bachrachs before working from her home.

Mrs. Russell is survived by her husband of 41 years, Carl Russell, of Decatur; a son, Eric Russell and his wife, Amanda, of Marion; a daughter, Rebecca Shepherd and her husband, Alan, of St. Louis, Mo.; her parents, Russell and Lavera Runyon, of Olney; two brothers, Larry Runyon and his wife, Mary, of Evansville, Ind., and Jack Runyon, of Olney; three sisters, Janet Runyon, of Hibbing, Minn., Shirley Keen and her husband, Steve, of Olney, and Kathy Anderson, of Olney; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Emily and Ryan.
