Glenn Edward Bower, 78, of Olney, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.  Glenn was born on February 20, 1940 in Olney, IL, the son of George and Hazel (Taylor) Bower.  He married Betty Callahan in May of 1959 and she survives him.

Glenn enjoyed traveling, Cubs baseball, and cars, but most of all his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 59 years Betty Bower; son, Tim Bower of Olney, IL; daughter, Kim (Garry Jr.) Ryker of Olney, IL; grandson, Wes (Alayna) Ryker of Olney; great-grandson, Will Ryker; and great-granddaughters, Ally and Anna Ryker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant granddaughter, Kristy Marie Ryker.

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
