Wesley Weston (1964)

Jamres was a cousin of mine and I knew him for many years. When I knew him he used to live on North Walunt street in , I think, the 1000 or 1100 block on the east side of the street. One of the things I remember avout Jimmy Dale, That was what I called him when I was young, was that one time while out mowing the lawn with his fathers power mower he was mowing the grass in the west ditch of the property, pulled the mower up and out of the ditch, slipped and cut is left big toe off. He spent server days in the hospital recovering. Althoughy he was several calsses ahead of me me was always acceptacnce of this little kids visit and seemed to enjoy the times that i came up to visit and talk with him.

Over the years I lost track of Jimmy Dale, but in conselation to the family, he was a good man, I believe that he would have been a good father, friend and I know that he will be missed by his family. I wish I had just one more day to talk with him again.  Good bye Jimmy...............

His cousin,

Wesley A. Weston, Class of 1964
