Richard L. Fulk

Richard Lee Fulk, Sr., 79, of Auxvasse, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Fulton Manor Care Center in Fulton, Missouri.  Richard was born on October 1, 1943, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Clifford Edward and Margaret Rosalia (Iffert) Fulk. He grew up attending St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney, Illinois, where he was an altar server.

Mr. Fulk was a 1962 graduate of East Richland High in Olney, Illinois. On April 27, 1963, in St. Charles, Missouri, he married Rosemary Alice Keiffer. 

Richard was a mechanic, working on tractors and cars for several truck stops and gas stations. He had owned and operated a Marathon gas station and also worked for Skelly Oil. 

Mr. Fulk enjoyed restoring old tractors and attending shows. He loved bow hunting, camping, fishing, woodworking, bowling and watching western movies. 

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Fulk of the home; four children, Rosemary Todd (Tony) Fulk Carlson of St. Charles, Richard Lee Fulk, Jr. (Jeff Camden) of Dugger, Indiana, Thomas Clifford (Karen) Fulk of Olney, Illinois, and Theresa Joy (Roger) Haubner of Auxvasse; 12 grandchildren, Brandon Carlson, Justin Carlson, Lauren Carlson, Rachel (Brandon) Franck, Heather (B.J.) Mundy, Jenny (Larry) Miller, Brandon (Kate) Hixon, Jesse (Victoria) Brian, Jacob (Maggie) Haubner, Victoria Haubner, James Haubner and Benjamin Haubner; and three great-grandchildren, Judd, Haven and Collins Haubner.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, infant Jerry Lee Fulk, Robert Leo Fulk and John Charles Fulk.

Graveside Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Olney, Illinois.
