John Joseph “Joe” Campbell, 62, of rural Marshall, Illinois died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at his residence. “Joe” was born February 21, 1943 in Olney, Illinois, a son of John and Virginia (Von Almen) Campbell.

Joe had been an oil field worker and was a United States Air Force veteran. He was associated with the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two brothers, Billy Don Campbell of Martinsville and Richard Campbell of North Carolina; and one sister, Jeanna C. Welton of Mode.

Joe was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

The Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville, Illinois is charge of arrangements. No service is planned at this time.
