Frederick Henry Ahlfield,  67, of Olney died Saturday May 26, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was born May 29, 1944 in Olney, Illinois, the son of Frederick H. and Fern (Nicholas) Ahlfield. He married Donna Everett on April 8, 1972 in Olney.

Fred was an avid race fan, NASCAR his favorite. He liked going to races, camping and enjoyed many good times with friends and family. He worked at Keens Service Center in Olney and was a member of the VFW.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Fred is survived by his wife, Donna Ahlfield of Olney; Son, Ronald Ahlfield and companion, Lora of Terre Haute and grandsons, Jackson Frederick Ahlfield and Lora’s son, Hunter Padgett.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites were accorded.
