Kerry Gene Brown, 40, of Noble, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home with burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kerry was born August 23, 1976 in Olney, the son of Terry Micheal Brown and Kathleen (Scherer) Cook.

Kerry was a great and God-loving Dad who worked and played with his two boys. He often shared his interests with his children and taught them the value of hard work. Kerry was an outdoorsman who enjoyed off-roading and anything with an engine. He was very talented at every hobby he pursued. He took up flying with his father. He built and operated remote control cars, boats, and planes. Kerry also built dune buggies and repaired motorcycles, boats, and jet ski's. He also took pleasure in water sports.

He is survived by his sons, Taylor Brown and Jordan Brown of Noble; wife, Jody (Volk) Brown of Noble; mother, Kathleen "Kathy" Cook and husband Dennis of Flora, IL; father, Terry Brown and wife Valerie of Vincennes, IN; stepfather, Lee Milone and special friend Linda Dickerson of Olney; brothers, Terry (Brenda) Brown Jr. of Monroe City, IN, Blake Milone of Olney, Nathan Milone and fiancee Kara of Des Moines, IA, Dustin (Brandie) Brown of Vincennes, IN; sister, Crystal (Brown) Lear and husband Dustin of Vincennes, IN; grandmother, Norma Jean Scherer of Olney; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Scherer, and paternal grandparents, Paul and Leona Brown.
