Wayne Eugene Meadows, 56, of Sumner, Illinois died Tuesday October 6, 1998 at his residence.

Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mr. Meadows was born October 30, 1941 in Richland County, the son of Forrester and Ethel Lucille (Cook) Meadows. He married Deloris Withrow of Lawrenceville on May 20, 1965.

Mr. Meadows was a farmer and a member of the Beulah United Methodist Church and the East Richland Coon Hunter Association.

He is survived by his mother, Ethel Lucille Moan; his wife, Deloris Withrow Meadows; one son, Steven Meadows of Secor, and three sisters, Carolyn Fiscus, Glenda Moan and Susan Fisher all of Sumner.

He was preceded in death by his father.
