Lawrence W. Nease, 73, of Olney passed away December 20, 2014 at his residence.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Hanna officiating.  Burial in Haven Hill Memorial Garden with full military rites at graveside.

Lawrence was born on June 10, 1941 in Claremont, IL the son of Silas George and Lady June (Butler) Nease.

He married Ruth Marie Hough on April 17, 1970 at the Elm Street Christian Church in Olney. She died March 18, 2005. He then married Mary E. Nicholas on April 9, 2012 in Olney. She survives him.

He was a giving man who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a veteran of the IL National Guard, Army from 1964 - 1970 in Company B 682nd EngrBn holding the rank of Sgt. He was a member of the American Legion Post #30 and Bible Fellowship Church.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Mary E. Nease of Olney; sisters, Vera Baker of Sumner and Georgia Guinnee of Peru, IL; everal nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
