Patricia Mae Harrison

Ms. Harrison died this morning, Thursday, August 18th, 2011.  Funeral plans are incomplete as of this writing.

Pat attended grade school in Dundas and then high school at East Richland High School, Class of 1960.

Pat lived in Olney, Illinois, during all of her adulthood, was a successful business woman, loved to get and send emails, and loved photography. She was very smart and had a very dry sense of humor.

The following note was emailed by her sister to Sharon Street Burt for her to share with Pat's classmates and other friends.

I wanted you to know we had to take the different kinds of support off Pat this morning.

Her body was starting to deteriorate even on the support.  No choice left but to do this.  It was a decision I was hoping we would not have to make.  Her lungs just couldn’t handle this last surgery.

What a wonder group of friends she has had over the years.  She used to be on email for hours when she felt better.  As everyone has noticed there had not been many emails lately, even before this came up.  She was feeling bad and hurting so much.  I want to thank all her friends for being there for her.

May You Rest In Peace, Pat!

You were a friend, and I'm the better for knowing you!  One example comes from the days when I was writing my books and you were a key editor for me.  You read every chapter and always wrote complete reviews.  You shared both what you thought was good and what you thought I need to hear when it, well, needed work.

Thanks, Pat! You will be remembered.
