Vernon S.Tucker, 29, died Tuesday night, February 25, 1936 at the Olney Sanitarium after a delayed appendicitis operation.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Calhoun Christian Church with Rev. Moore in charge.

Survivors are his parents Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Tucker, and one brother, Grover.

At the time of his death Mr. Tucker was the owner and operator of a tavern on Whittle Avenue.
