Sarah Mae Howington, 90, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013.  Burial in Indian Gap Cemetery in Indian Gap, Texas at a later date.

Sarah was born March 14, 1922, in Richland County, to William and Estella Hudson.

She attended Sanford Brown Business College and was employed as a bookkeeper.

Sarah is survived by four sisters, Marian (Ted) Eagleson, Carolyn (Rex) Tucker, Wilma Slichenmyer, of Olney, and Norma Stoltz, of Altoona, Fla.; also three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several stepgrandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Estella Hudson; husbands, Noel Howington and James Hannon; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Margaret Grove; stepson, Gordon Hannon; sisters, Florence Stallard and Patricia Gaede; and brother, Reuben Hudson.
