Mary Ann "Ann" (Neely) Young, 73, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.

She was born on February 26, 1952, in Illinois, Ann dedicated her life to music, education, and faith. She was a devoted music teacher in Fort Wayne, where she inspired countless students through her passion for teaching and her love of the piano. In addition to her work in schools, she offered private piano lessons to many aspiring musicians over the years, nurturing talent with patience and care.

Ann shared a deep bond with her late husband, Jerry, who preceded her in death on August 17, 2012. Together they opened their home and hearts to exchange students from around the world, forming lasting connections that reflected their generous spirit and commitment to cultural understanding.

A faithful follower of Christ, Ann was an active member of Headwaters Church, Fort Wayne. Her faith guided her life and was evident in the kindness and encouragement she extended to others.

She is survived by her half-sister, Fern Newkirk, of Illinois.

Ann's legacy lives on through the music she taught, the lives she touched, and the love she shared. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Silver Birch Fort Wayne, 3731 West Cook Road, Fort Wayne.
