Ronnie Lemke, 81, of Parkersburg, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at his residence peacefully.

Ronnie was born on November 14, 1943 in Berryville, IL to parents, Karl and Birdie M. (Taylor) Lemke. He married Micki (Conner) Lemke on August 18, 1979, she survives.

Ronnie was a proud farmer since 1950. He also was a talented construction worker and built many homes and buildings in the local area.

He was an adventurous spirit. He enjoyed hang-gliding and water skiing on surrounding rivers and lakes. Ronnie also took pleasure in traveling, gambling, and going out to eat. But more than anything he loved his wife's home cooking, especially her fried chicken.

Ronnie could often be heard before he was seen, the familiar sound of his Ranger riding around the neighborhood brought comfort and joy to those nearby.

Above everything, Ronnie loved to spend time with his family and spoil his grandchildren.

Ronnie was survived by his wife of 46 years, Micki Lemke of Berryville, IL; son, Tony (Karen) Lemke; daughter, Tina Lemke; daughter, Carrie (Brian) Ochs; son, Scott (Shawna) Seib; son, Brian (Tara) Lemke; grandchildren, Devin Lemke, Sierra Weatherford, Brock and Chelsea Ochs, Jordan and Baylee Seib, Olivia and Abel Lemke; brother, Lloyd (Jean) Lemke; sister, Mildred (Don) Tarpley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Birdie Lemke; in-laws, Jerry and Alberta Conner; and infant brother, Charles Lemke.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements.  

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney.

Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Berryville, IL.

Memorials can be made to the Berryville Community Building.
