Hey, hey, hey - Happy Birthday! Hi Ron, I hope you are finding a pandemic-approved way to celebrate your day. Welcome to my age. Hi Angel. Kathryn

Hi Angela,
I know today is the day - you are on my calendar! A very special time as you celebrate your HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope all is well in Decatur. We could use some rain - a long heat-wave here in CT. I'm thinking Ron could be harvesting gooseberries if he still has his bushes. My best to you both! Kathryn

I thought you probably were Judy's brother! Thanks for your reply, and please pass a hello to Judy for me! I always enjoyed being in class with her - a "smart cookie," and a pleasant person! I've thought of her often over the years. But she wasn't at the 50th yr. reunion, and isn't on the TAC website, so no way to contact her. Thanks for the connection!

Hi "Jimmy Joe!" I think that's what my older brother called you on the school bus a "few" years ago when we were young kids; would you remember that? The older ones were always teasing us younger ones on the bus. I thought I'd replied to you after you sent me a "Happy Birthday" greeting last Dec., but I can't find where I did that - so thought I'd do so when updating my profile today. We're staying home/socially isolating in CT during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since we're all at risk, you and your family stay safe/stay well.

Hi and welcome, Ramona. I hope that you enjoy the Olney Memories and all the other neat connections on TAC.

I see that there is a private message option, and a public one - so being easily challenged with too many choices in my senior "condition," I now feel compelled to repeat my private message to make it a public statement: "Happy Birthday"!
HI ANNEDA,
I remember the days of riding the school bus with you, Bob, Neal, and more of your siblings whose names I'm struggling to recall, but I remember their sweet faces. I am in CT with my only daughter/no grands; I visit the Olney about annually, for a week of summer. My siblings are all gone, but I have nieces and nephews in the Olney area. My sister Barbara was in your class. I hope you are well, and enjoying your life in LA! Happy Birthday!!! Kathryn

Mary Powell was an excellent health provider to students, and an inspiration for those who entered the nursing field. She took the Future Nurses Club on many field trips to explore nursing programs, one of which I entered. In addition to hospital and public health, I was a school nurse for over 20 years.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the 5th! I hope your celebration candles will heat up this long stretch of very cold weather! Have a good year! Kathryn

Mr. Noerenberg taught me how to play clarinet in 5th grade; he had a lot of patience and an abundance of good humor. I enjoyed band throughout jr. high and high school. He gave me the foundation for a life-time of music appreciation. Kathryn Haenggi Robinett, class of 1961
