Joan C.(Ginder) Robinson, 82, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney.

Joan was born September 24, 1943 in Olney, the daughter of Elmer and Josephine (Michl) Ginder. She married Michael N. Robinson, and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2012.

Joanie was a strong-willed person. She loved her family very much, and she always welcomed visitors with a friendly smile and a glass of wine. She loved animals, especially her dachshunds and hummingbirds. Joanie also liked gardening, fishing, and shopping. Joanie enjoyed working with her Prairie Farms family for 38 years until she retired. She was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, as well. Joanie will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.

Joanie's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Garrett, all of the staff in the Gardens at Richland Nursing and Rehab, and the helpful staff from Carle RMH Hospice.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Mandy (Ron) Martin of Olney and Macy (Tim) Sorrell of Bridgeport; great grandchildren, Grace and Jonalyn Martin, Zach and Madeline Sorrell; sister, Norma Beavers of Newton; sisters-in-law, Madge and Ann Robinson of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Christine Robinson and Michel Lenear; sisters, Maxine Lidh and Shelby Raube; brother, James Ginder.

Cremation Rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held for Joan at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation beginning one hour before service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
