After retiring from Dept of Defense work at NASA in June 2014, we bought a home in Pahrump, NV. I love the mild winters and hot dry summers in the Mojave High Desert. Rarely see snow, except on the mountains around us, and love the lack of bugs and pests - especially the lack of mosquitos!

I was saddened by Bob's passing.  Talked to him for a while on my last visit to Olney.  Truly good and humble man.  I also recall that he was a pretty good sticker as well as being a good first baseman on numerous teams around Olney.  My sincere condolences to the family.  He made Olney a better place to live.
