Graveside services for Frank Gorden Flanders, 73 of Southwood rd, Vesta-via Hills, Birmingham, Alabama who died Thursday, July 24, 1975 were held at Elmwood. Gorden was born September 22, 1903 in Noble, Illinois son of Frank B. and Maggie (Greenfield) Flanders.

An Illinois native, Mr. Flanders lived in Birmingham since 1947 and was retired district manager for Armour & Co. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Vesta-via Country Club.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivers include his wife, Lynn Flanders; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Hughes, Oshkosh, Wisconsis; a brother, Harris F. Flanders, Mexico and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Miller, Olney, Illinois.
