Cloyd C. Rose Jr

Cloyd C. Rose, Jr. 87 of Brownsburg, IN, formally of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2006.

He was a charter member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, a member of American Model Train Association and he sang with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir from 1966 to 1983. Cloyd was an avid train enthusiast and collector of historic Monon Railroad memorabilia. He was a frequent passenger on steam-powered railways in Indiana and other states, and was member of the American Model Train Association.

Cloyd retired from Detroit Diesel Allison Transmission Company in 1993 where he was a quality control inspector for 43 years. He graduated from the Indiana Central College, now known as the University of Indianapolis. Cloyd was in the US Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant serving from 1942 to 1946.

He was widowed to Carol L. Eichhorst Rose and was father to Lawrence C. Rose (Pam, Barbara Ann (Art) Mathis and Susan Jane "Penny" (Rich) Edyvean as well the grandfather to six grandchildren.
