Harold Paddock

Rev. Harold L. Paddock, 53, of Charleston, Illinois and graduate of the Olney Township High School class of 1934, passed away Thursday night, August 22, 1968 at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur.

Rev. Paddock, a native of Crawford county, was serving as pastor of the Mt. Erie Christian Church. In addition to being pastor of several Christian churches in this section of Illinois, he was an employee of the maintenance department at Eastern Illinois University at Charleston.

Funeral services held at Central Christian Church at Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, four sons, Terry, Kevin and Ronnie at home, Jerry with the U.S. Navy in Guam, two daughters, Javetta and Peggy, both at home. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Paddock of Bridgeport, three brothers, Selvin of Bridgeport, Freeman of Dickson, Tenn. and Nolan of Robinson and one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Survance of Kinderhook, also survive.
