Chester Earl Minkler, 58, brother of Mrs. Fred (Mary Louise) Pampe of Olney and a former Olney resident, died Wednesday, (June 1976) in East Aurora, N.Y.

He was born in Proctor, Vt. June 27, 1918, son of the late Ray and Alma Speicher Minkler.

Mr. Minkler attended Olney schools and graduated from Olney Township High School in 1936. He received a degree in music from Boston University and was a band director in public schools in New Hampshire and New York for 27 years.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Kleiser Minkler; six sons, Daniel, David, Paul, Peter, Andrew and Christian; a daughter, Catherine; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Pampe of Olney.

Services and burial in East Aurora, N.Y.
