Esther Jane Sterchi, 76 of Dundas, died Thursday October 5, 2006 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Burial in Saron Cemetery in rural Dundas.

Mrs. Sterchi was born on February 5, 1930 in Richland County, the daughter of Ernest and Ruth (Gregory) Boatman. She married Charles Sterchi on September 25, 1955. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Saron Church of Grand Prairie.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Sterchi of Dundas; daughter, Janet Sterchi of Olney; three sons, Larry Sterchi of Dundas, Ed Sterchi and wife, Julie of Harrisburg and David Sterchi and wife, Debra of Olney; brother, Carl Boatman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Hazel Scherer and husband, Junior of Olney; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Sterchi was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter.
