Frederick Leaf

Frederick "Gene" Leaf, 65, of Olney, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1987, at his home.

Military graveside rites conducted by the Olney Veterans Organizations. Burial in the Crest Haven Cemetery.

Mr. Leaf was born July 16, 1922, in Olney, the son of Raymond and Laura (Taylor) Leaf. He was a retired truck driver for Dresser-Atlas, a member of the V.F.W and was a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Eugene Leaf and Jeffrey Henry Leaf, both of Olney, and Tommy Allen Leaf of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Judith Kay Wesner, Olney, and Julie Ann Leaf, Clinton, Ind.; four brothers, George Leaf, Richard Leaf and John Leaf, all of Olney, and Charles Leaf of Woodward, Okla.; four sisters, Minnie and Barb Leaf, both of Olney, Betty O'Brian, Claremont, and Mary Fregeau, Douglas, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons and one brother.
