Dorothy Schneiter (Poole)

Dorothy M. (Schneiter) Poole, 79, a 45-year Birmingham, Michigan resident, died of cancer Sunday, October 20, 1991 in Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.

Born in Olney, Illinois and a graduate of the University of Illinois, Mrs. Poole, the former Dorothy Schneiter was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Gamma Delta and the American Association of University Women.

Dorothy was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Engelhardt; a son, John; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter and sister, Virginia Forsyth.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Carl Schneiter and her parents, Fred and Winnie B. (Curtis) Schneiter.

Her husband, James H. Poole was general manager of field engineering for Burroughs Corp. He died in 1989.

Services in First Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, with burial in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Birmingham, MI.
