Paul W. Simon

Mr. Paul W. "Bill" Simon Sr., 78, of Ft. Jefferson, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Center of Hope in Union City, Ohio.

He was born on December 20, 1929 in Flat Rock, Illinois to the late Vernon Simon and Eva (Cochran) Berdick.

Paul retired in 1992 from Bill Bird Greenville Mobile Homes. He was a member of the United Stated Army serving in the Korean War, American Legion and Eagles of Greenville and was a member of the EUM Church. He was also a Carpenter.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Mowry) Simon of Ft. Jefferson, Ohio whom he married on June 25, 1966, sons and daughters in law; Paul & Rita Simon Jr. of Illinois, Mike & Cassie Simon of Troy, Ohio, Mark & Patty Niswonger of Pennsylvania, Jay Niswonger of Germantown, Ohio, daughters and son in law; Diana & Roger Sterchi of Illinois and Sylvia Niswonger of Greenville, grandchildren; Bradley Simon, Shane Simon, Cory Simon, Justine Simon, Ryan Simon, Carrie Marie Simon, Jessica Clark, Angie Simon, Jessie, Megan & Josh Niswonger and Brandon Williams, great grandchildren; Sierra & Hannah Simon, Sebastian Simon, Zade & Jaydon Simon, sister; Doris Blown of White Pigeon, Michigan, nephew; Marc Groff of Columbia City, Indiana as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Ft. Jefferson, Ohio.
