Gary Keith Hout, Williams, Indiana passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis. Born April 7, 1949 in Robinson, Illinois he was the son of Palmer and Leona (White) Hout. He married Vicki Orr, and she survives.

He retired as a Navy Commander after 36 years of service and was a retired electronic engineer at CRANE after 36 years. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ. He was an avid golf lover and player and enjoyed his time with his golfing buddies.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Vicki of Williams; two sons, Todd (Cheryl) Craig (Kristen); several grandchildren; a brother, Dan (Dana) Hout of Illinois; his little sister, Kelly (Greg) Dunn and their son, Garrison; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Palmer and Leona Hout and twelve brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on June 13 at Central Church in Bedford. Military rites with Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
