Worked flight test on the F111's at General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas from 1967 to 1970. Drafted into the Army in 1970 where I was a photographer for The Public Affairs and Information Office. Moved back to Olney in 1972 where I met my wife, Janice Jenkins. In 1981 we moved to Bedford, Texas and I began working as a PLC (programmable logic controller) programmer. PLC's are what automates industry. From 1997-2001 I was an Operations Manager. Retired from Nestle in 2007. My hobby is photography but I enjoy designing and building anything. I raced karts on dirt until 4 years ago and still take it out once in a while just for fun. I hope that I never get too old to have fun. On my Flickr account I have over 16,000 pictures posted, most of them of the kids at the track. A few other sports that I have enjoyed are, jogging, making custom knives, racquetball and riding my bicycle. Riding the "Hotter Than Hell 100", a 100 mile bike race in Wichita Falls, Texas in the middle of August has been my most satisfying accomplishment. There were over 6,000 riders and I rode it in 5 hrs and 2 min. I am on Face Book.

Jane, will you please spell your last name for me. On this site it is spelled Fritschle and Cindy Kribbs has it Fritchle. I need it for the class reunion name tags. Thanks,
Stan

Wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Tom!!! I have finally found something that retirement is good for. I always gain weight from Thanksgiving thru the New year so I thought that I would start doing pushups. To my surprise I could only do 12 reps and was really disappointed so I set a few goals for myself to reach by our 50th class reunion. At my age I had big doubts that I would be able to reach them but I have never backed down from a challenge even if it was challenging myself. So here are the goals that I set for myself: 149 lbs, 1 set of 50 pushups and 10 sets for a total of 500. To my surprise the 50 reps came pretty easy so I had to raise that to 68 rep by my 68th birthday. I dropped my weight from 159 lbs to 149 so far, 3 time in the past 2 weeks I have reached 62 reps on the first set of 10 and this morning my total was 535 reps for 10 sets. I do 10 sets 6 days then rest 1 day. I have reached all of my goals except the 68 first set reps but I still have until July 20 to reach that goal. I have been very excited about my progress at my age. Since I have not gained any first set reps in the last 2 weeks I bought a weight machine to work on my crest press strength. I removed the cable system and fabricated a system that allows me to add weight to a bar and lift the weight directly rather than through a pulley system from the seated press position. I had a really nice set of Olympic weights and bench but I was always hurting my back so I sold it and went with this seated chest press attachment. Hope you are still in good health. Take care, Tom.
