Happy Birthday, Tom!!! https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/SchoolRecords.aspx?SchoolID=16582&Grade=12
Have a happy birthday, Pat!!! I really enjoyed talking to you at the reunion and I wish that we could have gotten a picture of the Cherry Street group. Did you download the group picture that I took at brunch the next morning. https://www.flickr.com/photos/stanleygill/albums/72157647920754750 These images are all downloadable in full resolution. Let me know if you have any questions.
Did not get to the 50th until late Saturday but did get to see several of our classmates. Attached is a link to the Sunday brunch picture and a few other class pictures just in case you have not seen them. All images can be downloaded full size. Let me know if you have any issues. Glad to see you on here. If the link does not work you can copy and past it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/stanleygill/albums/72157647920754750

Jane, will you please spell your last name for me. On this site it is spelled Fritschle and Cindy Kribbs has it Fritchle. I need it for the class reunion name tags. Thanks,
Stan

Wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Tom!!! I have finally found something that retirement is good for. I always gain weight from Thanksgiving thru the New year so I thought that I would start doing pushups. To my surprise I could only do 12 reps and was really disappointed so I set a few goals for myself to reach by our 50th class reunion. At my age I had big doubts that I would be able to reach them but I have never backed down from a challenge even if it was challenging myself. So here are the goals that I set for myself: 149 lbs, 1 set of 50 pushups and 10 sets for a total of 500. To my surprise the 50 reps came pretty easy so I had to raise that to 68 rep by my 68th birthday. I dropped my weight from 159 lbs to 149 so far, 3 time in the past 2 weeks I have reached 62 reps on the first set of 10 and this morning my total was 535 reps for 10 sets. I do 10 sets 6 days then rest 1 day. I have reached all of my goals except the 68 first set reps but I still have until July 20 to reach that goal. I have been very excited about my progress at my age. Since I have not gained any first set reps in the last 2 weeks I bought a weight machine to work on my crest press strength. I removed the cable system and fabricated a system that allows me to add weight to a bar and lift the weight directly rather than through a pulley system from the seated press position. I had a really nice set of Olympic weights and bench but I was always hurting my back so I sold it and went with this seated chest press attachment. Hope you are still in good health. Take care, Tom.
