.PNG) Charlotte Ann (Roberts) Bruce, 79, of Olney, passed away May 23, 2024 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Charlotte Ann Bruce was born October 5, 1944 in Salem, IL , daughter of Ansel Chadwick "Sonny" Roberts and Jacquelyn (Davisson) Roberts. She married Terry L. Bruce on January 31, 1965 in Olney, IL, he survives.
Charlotte is survived by husband of 59 years, Terry L Bruce of Olney; daughter, Emily Bruce of Centreville, VA; daughter, Ellen Bruce and husband Joe Rupcich of Springfield, IL; siblings, Janas (Dusty) Burton of Downs, IL, Pete (Paulette) Roberts of Springfield, IL, and Chad (Mary) Roberts of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Rosalind) Bruce of Springfield, IL; and several beloved family members..
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved in-laws, Lloyd and Janie Bruce.
Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral Services for Charlotte Bruce will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney with a time for Visitation beginning one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00 AM) at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Olney Central College Foundation.

I was friends with Charlotte and Terry while attending School. She was always such a kind and friendly person and a delight to be around. My condolences to Terry and her family.

So sad to hear this! Charlotte was a Librian when I was a Teacher at ERHS. You will not meet a sweeter person than Charlotte. Such a friend. My sympathy to the Bruce and Roberts families. Terry is a friend and had Emily when teaching. Open those Golden Gates Jesus, you know you are receiving a great one!

Sorry to hear of Charlotte's death. Just saw it on this web site today. I am living in Charleston and would have come to visitation if I had read this notice earlier.

So sad for me to hear about the passing of Charlotte. We spent many hours together twirling our batons in high school. I will never forget. My heart goes out to Terry, and family, as they try to heal.
